Airport Tips For A Better Travel Experience

AAirports have been around for a very long time, but many people haven’t quite figured out how to navigate them in the best ways possible. This guide will let you know some of my tried and true airport hacks that I love to use, so read on to find out more.

Stay close by

Staying close to the airport is the best solution for the best airport experience. By using Airport hotels and staying in one of the Manchester airport hotels you can much more easily make your way to the airport, without any worries about relying on transport from home to the airport. This is so much more reliable and means that you practically cannot miss your flight!

Skip Security

If you are in a hurry it is always a great idea to speak to an airport employee and you may be able to jump the queue and therefore get your flight. If this doesn’t work, you can always speak to some (hopefully) sympathetic passengers in the queue.

Remove everything before you get to security

It is so interesting because so many people wait until they get to security to frantically remove everything that they need to show to security, this includes things like laptops, belts and any liquids that you might have. The best option is of course to take these off or out before you actually reach security, and it doesn’t matter what is, but everything is subject to airport security!

Take a screenshot of your boarding pass

If you have an electronic boarding pass, I would highly recommend taking a screenshot of it on your smartphone rather than trying to frantically use the internet at the airport. This may not sound like a lot, but you often see a lot of people standing around in queues staring at their phones wondering why they can’t load up their boarding pass! The other solution to this is of course to print your boarding pass!

Never queue for the plane

This is totally unnecessary, but the fear of missing out often gets the better of people. Instead sit around and listen to music or continue reading the book you were reading. The ideal situation is to get on at the very last minute, but don’t worry the plane won’t leave without you, they will call your name out first! The only situation where you want to be first is of course when you have a lot of carry on luggage on a full flight, because you will be most likely fighting for space in the overhead baggage compartments. The best solution for this is to travel light of course.
